Below are simple instructions to add the Peak Flood Forecast OGC Web Mapping Service (WMS) to ArcMap 9.2 as a GIS layer.
1.) Click the "add data" button in ArcMap. Select "GIS Servers" in the popup window shown below.
2.) Next select "Add WMS Server" as shown below.
3.) Type "http://ffdt.rrbdin.org/mapmorphv1/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=../ffdtwms.map&" in the URL text box and click "Get Layers" as shown below.
4.) Select the PeakFlood layer and click ok to add it to the map as a layer. By default the layer will come in to the map in Geographic Coordinates. To change the coordinate system, right click the layer and select "Change Coordinate System".
The WMS server will be saved in your "add data" button data sources.
